Fall 2020: Virtual tour of the carousel in Wales, in times of Coronavirus

Our customer O’Reilly Concrete Group from Kingscourt, Ireland, just released a video showing Olmet Italy Automatic Pallet Circulation system fully operational at their plant in Wales.

It is indeed an ideal way to explore their production facilities, especially at this time of heavy restrictions on travels due to the ongoing pandemic.

The fully-fledged turnkey installation was started-up in 2019 by Olmet Italy, to include two-storey curing chambers with automatic elevator and pallet drawing system, an automatic plotter system, a concrete distributor of 2 m3 capacity, a surface finishing system (“helicopter type” trowelling station) and a dedicated software for automatic management.

The installation is extremely flexible and allows to manufacture different types of elements (walls and slabs). It can be implemented also with a double-wall turning station (0-180°). Indeed, the system already includes a tilting station to demould panels.

The new generation plotter device makes it possible to read technical drawings exported from Tekla designing software.

The installation has an overall capacity of about 850 sq.mt. of concrete elements per day.
