Auxiliary machines and equipment

It is possible to implement each formwork by adopting also auxiliary equipment that make it possible to automate some functions. In this way, the whole plant is implemented and the production output is increased, whereas the labour costs are reduced.

Cleaning / oiling machine

Self-propelling machine moving on wheels or along rails for perfectly cleaning the pallets and accurately spraying the demoulding agent. It can be manufactured in the gantry or semi-gantry version.
The pallet’s surface is roughly cleaned through scraping screed, then in depth through rotating roll brushes. Adjustable and swivelling nozzles spray oil on the steel plate and side elements. Such operations are pivotal to ensure a top quality finishing of the concrete panel surface.

Plotter

The plotter draws onto the pallet surface the contours and other data of the elements to be manufactured. The plotter reads CAD data and marks every contour on the pallet surface using water-soluble paint. It incredibly increases the level of automation.

Concrete distributing machine

Self-propelling machine moving on wheels or along rails for casting concrete into the formworks made ready with all the necessary rebar elements. It ensures speed and precision while casting any type of concrete. It can be manufactured in the gantry or semi-gantry version. The machine is equipped with outfalls controlled singularly or in pairs. The machine can be supplied either with cochlea’s type unloading system, or with helical mixer.

Smoothing / trowel machine

Self-propelling machine moving on wheels or along rails for smoothing the concrete element surface by trowel with blades or discs. By smoothing / polishing the semi-dry concrete surface, one obtains perfectly smooth concrete surfaces.

Equipment for strand pre-stressing and slackening

In order to manufacture pre-stressed concrete elements, the following items of equipment are required:

  • stressing and slackening head elements (or abutments) complete with suitable protections
  • stressing hydraulic machines / power units
  • slackening hydraulic machines / power units
  • single-acting and double-acting slackening cylinders
  • stressing spares (wedges, barrels, joints, etc…)
  • strand-pulling machine (required to speed up the laying down of pre-stressing strands)
  • dynamometers for calibrating the pre-stressing equipment.

Curing equipment

Based on the formwork or plant to be utilized and the local environmental conditions, it is possible to implement such machinery with accelerated curing systems by means of:

  • purpose-made curing chambers
  • steam / water / oil circuits or electrical coils (resistances)
  • boilers with electronic management of curing cycles.

Flying wagons and buckets for transporting the concrete

In order to speed up and optimize the transport of concrete from the batching plant to the precasting lines and in particular to feed the distributing / dosing machines, one can use either flying shuttles (wagons) running along aerial rails or concrete buckets (loaders).
These accessories can be designed for different load bearing capacities, up to 3 cubic mt. for the buckets.

Turning machines

Some types of single-block elements, such as cabins for power sub-stations for example, are cast ‘upside-down’ inside special formworks, so, once the concrete element is cured, it is necessary to rotate it by 180° in order to apply the roof element soon after (the same is to be separately cast on a special table).
The most effective, safe and flexible turning machine, for concrete elements of different sizes is the one in 2 steps (0-90-0°), specially designed with min. capacity suitable to the concrete elements to be overturned (even over 40 ton.).
As it happens with the tilting tables and the tilting stations of the pallet-circulation plants, also in the turning machines for single-block elements, specially designed telescopic cylinders are used. They feature an increased section and a special lining (Tenifer anti-gripping treatment).

Lifting and transport equipment

Based on the formwork or plant to be utilized, we can design and supply also suitable lifting and transporting equipment items for the concrete elements, such as:

  • cranes of 5÷100 TON. lifting capacity, either gantry-type sliding along floor rails, or bridge-type sliding along aerial runways
  • special equipment for lifting reinforcement sets prepared in advance;
  • crane beams and special pincers for lifting the concrete elements
  • special trolleys to transfer the concrete elements from the demoulding area to the stacking yard.

Chamfering machine

Some types of concrete elements do require some special finishing proesses, as chamfering for example, so as to chamfer sharp edges.
